Full festival tickets available soon - watch this space!

PalMusic UK is delighted to welcome you to our Voices of Palestine Festival -  where you can immerse yourself in the rich world of Palestine arts, culture and heritage for a day.  Meander through the market souk, find yourself in awe of the art exhibits, mesmerised by the music, a bazaar filled to the brim with folklore, fabrics, traditional Palestinian food,  tatreez embroidery, clothing and textiles - vintage to modern. Browse your way through the bookshops, delight in the Dabke performance Manjal by the NABAD Troupe and Gazelleband - featuring Reem Anbar, Palestine's first female oud musician.  Our day opens with Welcome to Gaza, a theatre performance  by the Hands Up Theatre Project.

Art exhibitions include the Palestine Music US & Scotland, Stitch their Names Together.  There will be screenings of Palestinian films with discussion panels afterwards. You can sit in on our salon talks to hear inspiring presentations with extraordinary people on music, art, literature, theatre, film, poetry, cinema and pathways to peace & healing. All of this leading to a wonderful evening of music with the acclaimed 35-piece all female choir Banat al-Quds/Daughters of Jerusalem with special guests, hosted by PalMusic UK, the UK charity supporting the music education programmes of the Edward Said National Conservatory of Music, Palestine.

Banat al-Quds/The Daughters of Jerusalem and the ensemble have an extraordinary story to share. Music is a lifeline for these young performers – fueling their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. It is a vital source of identity, cultural pride and resilience to survive against the odds, despite the traumas endured daily.  Their aim is to change the narrative of Palestine and open hearts and minds through music, celebrating their humanity and rich cultural heritage.

Support and celebrate! Please share this with all of your friends!

It is not too late to support us in our fundraising for this wonderful project
